Thank you for taking an opportunity to get to know a little bit more about who we are. We understand that you may be facing a difficult decision, and we can only imagine how this choice impacts you. We promise to support your choices with empathy, and we hope that our story will show how much we value both the family we we’re born into and the family we choose.
Raising a child has been a long-time dream of ours and not a life experience we take lightly. We feel prepared to open our hearts to all the highs and lows that come with the responsibility of being parents, and we welcome the connections that come with adopting.
We know that the first step of this journey is not ours to take. Our promise is to be as serious as necessary and always make sure to include happy memories, a little bit of silliness, and lots of fun. We have so much love to share for a child as we expand our family. Please always know we will love and cherish your child unconditionally and we will make sure that he/she will always be proud of who they are and where they come from. I work in early childhood education and have experience teaching children of many different ages. I now teach and coach adults in the field.
I work in the advertising industry, but taught middle school for a decade before that.

What Makes My Spouse a Good Parent
Steve is great at keeping routines and staying grounded, but he also has the capacity to try new things even if it is outside of his comfort zone
Cassandra has a ton of experience being around young children, and she is really passionate about providing them with experiences that promote their happiness and wellbeing.

I have so many favorites and I have quite a collection of picture books. I love We Are in a Book by Mo Willems (as told by you, the reader!)
